TravPRO Mobile Welcomes JJ Villani as New Vice President, Sales and Business Development

Sales, travel and military veteran brings a world of experience and passion to TravPRO

MORRISTOWN, NJ–An 18-year travel industry veteran, JJ Villani has held sales leadership positions at iconic brands such as Travel Agent Magazine, Travel + Leisure and Yahoo! Travel and has now officially joined the team at TravPRO Mobile as VP Sales & Business Development.  

Formerly a consultant with TravPRO, JJ spearheaded the True Caribbean business, one of TravPRO’s widest-reaching platforms, and most recently helped win CISCO Systems for ChannelPRO (the consumer goods division of TravPRO Mobile)—the company’s first Fortune 100 client.   

JJ is passionate about helping travel agents sell more and sell better. His mission is to cut the friction in travel, and he is excited to continue to fulfill that goal by focusing on the cutting-edge technology of TravPRO’s mobile learning and sales enablement apps. “I’m eager to get the TravPRO platform into the hands of more and more agents and advisors to help them do their jobs better and more efficiently in today’s competitive market,” says Villani. “I look to continue opening their eyes to the power of what our library of 50+ programs can provide.” 

Working in the industry for almost two decades, JJ has seen the evolution of travel sales training and promotion. He explains, “How relevant is traditional sales media at this point? It’s like having a research paper due tomorrow and going to the library instead of Google.”

Villani is a former Board Member At Large for NTA and also a 2011 and 2012 winner of the American Express Publishing Pubby Award. As an avid traveler, JJ has visited over 40 countries, the first being Japan as a United States Marine. A married father of one, JJ enjoys collecting the memories of travel with his wife and son.
